Upper Gallery is a retail contemporary art gallery. The space of the gallery is available for rent after 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday or during daytime on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Upper Gallery is only responsible for the rental of its space. All art exhibitions will be left intact for the event. One member of the Upper Gallery staff is required to stay on the premises for the event. All weekday rentals are $300. Weekends are $400. A deposit of 50% of the fee is due with application. Upon approval of the application, the 50% deposit becomes non-refundable. The balance of the rental fee and all other charges will be due on the date of rental. Upper Gallery accepts MasterCard and Visa. All checks should be made payable to Upper Gallery. Prior approval is required for the hours of the event. A fee of $100.00 will be assessed for every extra hour. Alcohol may be served at Upper Gallery. Bartenders will be professional and will obey the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages. The event planners and caterers working at Upper Gallery must have copies of their business licenses, certificates of insurance, and proof of workmen's compensation on file with Upper Gallery. Setup may not begin until 7 p.m. Exceptions will be considered. Event planners and caterers are responsible for unloading, setting up, and reloading all of their goods. All rented items or delivered goods (alcohol, flowers, video equipment, etc.) must be signed for by event planner/caterer. There will be no exceptions. Caterers are to provide all necessary tools such as trash bags, can openers, foil, pots, towels, knives, and other supplies necessary to carry out their duties. Upper Gallery cannot provide any of the above items. |
