Merryn Carter, born in Isleworth England, studied art at the Banbury School of Art. In Canada, Merryn has taken numerous courses at Sheridan College and Springbank Art Centre, and many workshops with well known artists, such as Jack Reid, Fay Sproule and Lila Lewis Irving. Merryn has an ability to put emotion into her paintings by freeing herself to experiment constantly with new ideas and techniques.
